He is responsible for client reporting using sophisticated third-party software and works closely with the investment team and advisors to deliver key portfolio information, summaries, and actionable insights. He actively contributes to the due diligence process and helps ensure the team’s day-to-day operations run smoothly, delivering high-quality support to the firm’s clients.
Prior to joining MAXIMAI Investment Partners, Mateo began his career in wealth management at Global Kandor Advisors, where he gained broad experience with multi-asset portfolios and alternative investments. He later joined FitzRoy Investment Advisors in Miami as a Client & Investment Associate, supporting portfolio management and providing detailed client reporting for high-net-worth families.
Mateo holds a Master of Science in Finance from Florida International University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Universidad Sergio Arboleda in Bogotá, Colombia.
Born and raised in Bogotá, he now lives in Miami, Florida.
